The clicking fades,
slowly at first,
until it’s no longer
there.
The noise of the casino melts away,
the colors and lights dimming into
the background,
as if they were never truly real.
You stand still, in the middle
of the casino floor,
yet everything around you is slipping away, dissolving
into quiet.
The absence of sound is striking, almost peaceful.
There’s no need
to move, no need to question where you are anymore.
Everything you’ve seen,
the places you’ve wandered,
the strange yet familiar sensations—
they were pieces. Fragments. But of what?
You can’t quite grasp the full picture,
but the need to understand fades with
the sound.
The realization isn’t a revelation.
It’s more like a whisper—
a soft
knowing that settles in your chest.
It doesn’t matter if there’s an answer.
Maybe the answer has been there all along,
woven into the quiet hum of the journey.
You’re standing still now,
but you feel a sense of completion,
as if there’s
nowhere else to go.
The noise, the images, the sensations—
they’re gone, but
you remain.
And that feels enough.
The clicking, the hum, the visions—
they weren’t
the destination.
They were the path.
And as the silence envelops you,
you finally
feel at ease.
Again
